Quality Assurance Specialist (f/m/d)

Our client is a leading global provider of specialized medical instruments for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in critical care, urology, cardiology and surgery with the goal of developing excellent products and setting global qualitative and innovative standards. The company is headquartered in the USA. More than 12,000 employees work in 25 operating sites in the U.S., Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

For its Logistics and Distribution organization our client offers a job opportunity based at a third-party supplier located in the Frankfurt area.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Specialist coordinates, executes and provides support for the Ship Hold Process in the European Distribution Centre, monitors and reports QA performance of the site.

  • Governance of the Ship Hold Process at logistic partners
  • Interface with key business partners, e.g. logistic partners’ staff, demand fulfilment, manufacturers, Distribution Centres and other functions as required for Ship Hold actions
  • Generate QA reports for the site
  • Monitor and trend QA related metrics and induce corrective action if required
  • Supervise product recall returns
  • Assist with the site QMS audit

Essential Skills/Experience

  • IHK-degree "Technischer Fachwirt" / "Technischer Betriebswirt" or Quality Manager (QMB) qualification with min. 2 years of working experience in QA or Bachelor degree in Science
  • QM experience in the fields of medical / pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
  • Microsoft Excel tables, pivot tables, logical & look-up functions expertise
  • Self-driven and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Ability to scope priorities and consider the full compliance and business impact of decisions and actions taken
  • Problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to build strong and positive working relationships with key business partners
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Approachable and enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable
